Oh my, brownies iniii… bener2 ngerjain aku!

Pertamanya, buka2 kumpulan resep (ya buku, ya prin2an, ya potokopian😀 ) koleksiku selama ini. Wah kayaknya udah dicoba semua. Akhirnya, ngambil hape, cari resep di internet, hihihi *sok gaya* . Nemu ini, wah kayaknya gampang nih, gak pake dimixer nih *waktu menunjukkan jam 9 malem, Kintan udah bobok, kalo mixer2an berisik*. Oke beibeh kita coba!

Suzanne’s Best Brownies Recipe

10 tablespoons (1 1/4 sticks) unsalted butter [ngukurnya lama banget, searching konversi stick ke cup, cup ke gram😀 )
1 1/4 cups sugar
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (natural or Dutch-process)
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons almond extract [hueekkkk ternyata aku ga suka bau essens almond, kayak kamper! gak pake gak pake!]
2 cold large eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup pecan pieces [pake kacang mede]

1 Position a rack in the lower third of the oven and preheat the oven to 325°F. Line the bottom and sides of an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving an overhang on two opposite sides. –nggak mau nurut resep, tetep taro di rak yg tengah, emang kalo taro di bawah trus gosong dia mau tanggung jawab?

2 Combine the butter, sugar, cocoa, and salt in a medium heatproof bowl and set the bowl in a wide skillet of barely simmering water. Stir from time to time until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth and hot enough that you want to remove your finger quickly after dipping it in to test. Remove the bowl from the skillet and set aside briefly until the mixture is only warm, not hot. –sampe sini ngerti, maksudnya coklat bubuk + gula + butternya ditim sampe rata kaan… hehehe… enteng

Si mbaknya Kintan lagi lewat dapur, trus bilang, “Ovennya kok gak diganjel?” OMG, aku lupaaa!!! :(( ya udah deh biarin aja…

3 Stir in the almond extract with a wooden spoon. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring vigorously after each one. When the batter looks thick, shiny, and well blended, add the flour and stir until you cannot see it any longer, then beat vigorously for 40 strokes with the wooden spoon or a rubber spatula. Stir in the nuts. Spread evenly in the lined pan. –berenti di step ini, nggak ngerti maksudnya apa, hiahiahiahia, mau telepon mbak Ve yg pasti ngerti bahasa inggris, tapi kok udah malem banget, OMG, apa yg harus kulakukaaan, huhuuuu, tidaaakkk, ya udah nekat aja gini: campur telur sama tepung sampe nyampur n then masukin ke adonan nomor 2. tapi kok jadi kayak dodol?? Lama2 minyaknya misah. Perasaan jadi gak enak nih…

4 Bake until a toothpick plunged into the center emerges slightly moist with batter, 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool completely on a rack. Lift up the ends of the parchment or foil liner, and transfer the brownies to a cutting board. Cut into 16 or 25 squares. –Ya udah ayo kita panggang aja. hah? hah? makin mirip dodol!! huaaaa nangis deh, akhirnya aku angkat, gak jadi dipanggang, BETE!!! –

Nyamperin papa yg lagi nonton tipi sambil pasang muka ancur.
“Kenapa”
“Salah baca resep, mana lupa ngeganjel oven, mana adonannya jadi dodol, huah!! bahannya udah abis, mau bikin lagi gak bisaaa :((”
“Apa yg ga ada, aku beliin ke warung”
*liat jam* “Ini udah jam 10, udah tutup semua”
“ya ke warung yang di jalan depan, kan masih buka”
“gak usah deh” *continue ngambek dan meratapi si bronis dodol

entah ada angin apa *caila*, akhirnya aku bertekad:

Butter udah abis, pake minyak goreng aja, kan bisa! *sok tau* hihihihi….Bersusah payah berusaha mengerti step yg ini:
“Stir in the almond extract with a wooden spoon (maksudnye masukin ke adonan coklat tadi kali ya? oooowwww bilang kek dari tadi!). Add the eggs one at a time, stirring vigorously after each one (masukin telur, aduk rata). When the batter looks thick, shiny, and well blended, add the flour and stir until you cannot see it any longer (masukin tepung, aduk sampe gak keliatan batang idungnya), then beat vigorously for 40 strokes with the wooden spoon or a rubber spatula (aduk dengan semangat😀 sampe 40 kali. Iya? tolong koreksi dong…😀 ). Stir in the nuts . Spread evenly in the lined pan.”

Okeh, masuk oven, tunggu sampe mateng. Akhirnya jam 12 malem selesailah semua penderitaan yang berganti dengan kepuasan, HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH…..

Paginya, dicelupin ke milk coklat cair n then bawa buat bekel ke kantor. Ahh, what a night!

*temen, kalo mau ngopi resepnya mending ke situsnya Elise.com langsung, daripada salah ngikutin terjemahahku yang rusak parah. Oh iya, brownies ini bener2 bantet! Duh pokoknya jangan berpatokan sama blogku deh😀

    Huahaha, padahal aku kan tidurnya jam 12 toh nduk, kalo jam 10 itu biasanya malah masih nglayap makan🙂 Laen kali telpon aja gpp. Btw, cantik kok bronisnya, mulussss.. bantat gpp biar cepet bikin kenyang, kalo mkn kue cupcake putih telormu yg ga bantat itu meski ngabisin se loyang juga kayak makan kapas :-)) Papa baek hati ya mensupport kiprah istri..

    *Ciehhh aku jadi malu nih Bunda, kue pada bantet tapi ada yg nungguin, hihihi…

    *Wah, bisa2 bikin rhumball aja aku bantet pisan iki… hahaha… Sepertinya hawa2 dapurku lagi nggak enak nih mbak, perlu renov kali ya? *ampun paaaaa, wakakakak :))

    stahu saya.temen2 saya yang orang amrik selalu bikin browniesnya kayak dodol kalo mbak sodorin kuenya ke orang amrik tjutjok tapi ke orang kita dibilang kayak dodol.saya mah sukanya yg kyk dodol coklatnya lebih nendang.
